Labiaplasty and Vaginoplasty
We recognise that choosing to undergo labiaplasty in Sydney involves a deeply personal decision regarding your physical comfort and self-confidence. Consequently, our specialist team provides a compassionate environment where you can receive comprehensive information and individualised care. During a clinical consultation, a Specialist Plastic Surgeon carefully evaluates your concerns to help you make an informed choice about your body and well-being.
As reduction specialists, we perform labiaplasty to reduce and reshape the labia minora for improved comfort or aesthetic symmetry. Many patients also explore vaginoplasty to restore vaginal muscle tone and control following childbirth or the natural ageing process. Notably, our clinic offers non-surgical Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation, which utilises advanced technology to stimulate collagen and improve elasticity. Therefore, we provide a full range of surgical and non-surgical options to address your specific functional and aesthetic needs.
However, you must understand that every invasive procedure carries inherent risks, such as infection, scarring, or changes in sensation. In accordance with AHPRA regulations, all patients must obtain a GP referral and observe a mandatory seven-day cooling-off period before scheduling labiaplasty or vaginoplasty. Additionally, we strongly advise you to seek a second opinion from an appropriately qualified health practitioner before making your final decision. Ultimately, prioritising your safety through a thorough clinical assessment remains the most important step in your surgical journey.

What Happens During Surgery
Both labiaplasty and vaginoplasty are typically performed as day procedures at our Sydney clinic, under either local or general anaesthetic, depending on the individual case.
For labiaplasty, excess tissue is carefully removed from the labia minora—often using a wedge or trim technique—to reshape and reduce the labia so they no longer extend beyond the outer lips. The area is then sutured for a natural contour.
For vaginoplasty, the muscles and tissues of the vaginal canal are tightened by removing excess vaginal lining and bringing the muscles closer together. This is commonly performed to restore tone after childbirth or ageing.
In both procedures, dissolvable stitches are used to support healing and minimise the need for suture removal in sensitive areas.
